  1. Other than my sleep schedule being screwed up for the better part of this month, I really enjoyed the whole thing.

Ah, but NBC messed up on one MAJOR thing....during the closing ceremonies, they got a bad audio feed from Jimmy Page and that chick that was singing "Whole Lotta Love"....The commentators sounded fine, but of ALL THE TIMES to have a bad audio feed....ARRRRRGH!!!!

  2. IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST OLYMPICS IN HISTORY!!!

  3. The best ever without question. For starters, it wasn't a walk in the Park for the US. Both opening and closing ceremonies were amazing, great athletes, great records. Phelps made history, Bolt made history, the Jamaican women made history in the 100 m.

My top three would be Beijing, Barcelona and then Sidney.

  4. it was decent but i was sick of phelps and china itself..nbc shoving china down the throat of the world....plus i didnt see many events except small excerpts etc...overall its ok

  5. Beijing owned ALL of them...especially the most pathetic Atlanta one...

  6. The Chanel 7 coverage was **** house but i hear that they were one of the greatest. Apparently the CHief is not aloud to say if it is actually  the greatest ever like he did in Sydney. He should really have rated  rated it on the scale of 1 till 29 ( 1 to 30 for london) so we can all know. I was not in beijing but my time in Sydney during their games were amazing and definitely one of the greatest couple of weeks in my life and i do cringe at the idea that they have been topped. Though i am sure their are a heap of Chinese who would say the same about Beijing. If anyone gets a chance to go to an Olympics take it with both hands

  7. maybe I am a bit biased as I was involved in the construction of the Olympic Stadium and the village in Sydney 2000, but, this one has been very good. All the whining and moaning aside (unfortunately mostly from Americans) I found it to be success, the chinese did well in the medal count and the games hosting in general. I am living here in China at the moment, and have been for quite some time, so maybe I am again biased - such is life!
