It has just been confirmed that she is indeed his candidate of choice.

How exciting is that? What do you think?

  1. It is a cheap ploy.  She'll get chewed up and spat out.

  2. I think it's great he chose a woman.... but I don't think she should have been the one.... I would have rather had Kay Bailey... she would have been a much better choice... it's just too bad Kay didn't want it.. :/

  3. No. McCain is a misogynist. He's just picking her to pick up disaffected Clinton supporters. However I think the number of these disgruntled clintonbots is greatly overestimated. So he's going to get  what like 6% of Clinton supporters?

  4. PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey Dems how is that for change! huh

  5. I think she will be great!!!

  6. Here come the Hillary votes.  I think if McCain wins it won't be because of who he picked as a running mate.  It will be because of who Obama DIDN'T pick.  Biden was such a bad choice.

  7. I think it was a brilliant move. He will get a much bigger bump for this one action than the democrats got out of their convention. He knocked the cover off of the ball.

  8. She has NO experience! What happens when McCain dies in office of old age? How can a first term governor of a small population state take over? What a joke.

  9. Tsk Tsk...

Mrs. McCain better be on the look out!!  The Maverick is back in action.

  10. Yeah! NOW I am excited for this election. McCain's stock just went WAY up for me! Congrats to Gov. Palin!

  11. People have to learn about her.  She is totally unknown, outside of Alaska.

  12. Too much like George H.W.Bush picking Dan Quayle.  A shot in the dark, so to speak.  Now from what little I've read of her, she doesn't sound like the idiot Quayle is.  I think his other choices were problematic at best.  She might well be a "safe" choice.

  13. I just dont know enough about her to make an informed decision, but from what little I know now, I think she is a great choice!

I will say that I feel sorry for her.  The ugliness that I have already seen from Obama and his camp of supporters is astounding!  I have a hard time believing that the people on here spewing out all of the venom really have any clue about her one way or the other.  Turns out Obama and his cohorts  arent  the nice gentlemen that they  pretend to be afterall.

ADD:  It must be driving Hillary absolutely crazy!  hee hee

  14. He just handed the keys to the white house over to Obama and Biden and we should thank him for that.

  15. I don't really know anything about her.  A strong conservative woman certainly won't hurt him..

  16. very smart move to pick a woman but I dont have a clue who she is  LOL

  17. I don't know a lot about her, but from what I've read I do like her.  What if found funny in one of the articles I just read was that Dem. Shumer said she was a bad pick b/c of her lack of experience.  Really, a dem complaining about the repub. VP b/c of "lack of experience".

I like that she's pro-life, I like that she will take on anyone she feels is doing something unethical-regardless of party-, and that she seems to be a strong social conservative.

  18. Inexperience? Barry is running for PRESIDENT and has less than 2 years of experience.

  19. yes of course.

  20. I don't think she is a bad choice at all, I just hoped he would pick someone with better economic credentials.

If McCain wins, his would be the third term in a row where neither the President nor VP have a strong economic platform...  With the times we are facing that is kinda alarming to me.

  21. Yep. I just took a look at her wikipedia page - she's got great credentials! She has ran clean campaigns, and ended the "bridge to nowhere." She also has a history of calling out Republicans for ethical violations. I'm lovin her!

  22. Seems like a brilliant move to me.

First woman VP would be historic!

  23. Yes, just like Geraldine Ferraro

  24. It completely undercuts McCain's argument that Obama is too inexperienced to run.  Palin has only been governor of Alaska for two years.

  25. I am soooooo happy.  She has executive experience.  It's fantastic!! Woo hooo!!!!!

  26. No Hillary supporters will not Vote for someone with different Ideals.
