  1. Depends who its with sometimes.

My dad does the silent treatment & it is torture, my sister does the yelling & it makes my blood boil!

If I had to choose I'd say the silent treatment, it makes you feel guilty & want to make up...yelling just makes you want to hurt the person who's yelling!

  2. A verbal argument especially from a woman.

  3. if i had to choose, i would say that the silent treatment is worse since you don't always know why they're angry, and you don't know what they want you to do, and you don't know why the whole thing started.

although a loud verbal argument isn't fun, at least you get to know whats on their mind, and they know whats on yours.  it not fun, but its simply put for you..

  4. it's best to talk about things and try to come to an agreement maturely rather then those two options you posted.

  5. Silent treatment......ughhh just the curiosity kills me. When i argue I want the person to argue back but I guess it just makes things worse in the frustration alot of hurtful and unmeant things are said.

  6. loudness.  Can't be quiet forever and at least I will have my hearing and peace

  7. In my opinion the silent treatment is worse on the relationship and a poor way to communicate. Silence as a form of communication prolongs the problem. Eventually you will have to talk about it so why put it off just to demonstrate your hurt, anger or pain. Words are much more effective. Also, by delivering the silent treatment, you’re continuing to be a part of the problem and not the solution which is not the way to heal a rift. A loud verbal argument, although not much better, is still communication that will get the problem out so it can be dealt with.

  8. i'll have to say both, in my opinion......
