hey guys, i am working on my project now, the topic is what does our society consider to be perfect or ideal? there are some questions are need to be answer ...

what we consider to be the perfect human figure.

what is the way society treats the body.

i seriously can not think of any good points for this project.

This search for the meaning of perfection is totally futile.  There is NO perfect in terms of human beings.  Even the most beautiful person has flaws.  Maybe s/he has 6 toes or something less obvious. Maybe s/he is shallow and unable to feel for others.  

Perfection is something we can strive for but never reach.

Society, the way I have been viewing it seems to be based upon a eugenics type system.

The best looking, best body, the strongest, the most intelligent. Who you are, who you know, what your income is. All the while the obese, ugly, mentally and physically handicapped, the poor are being ridiculed and attacked left and right.

A man returning from war and applying for a job in a new community has a much better chance of going back to war than getting a job. The people that make an impact upon others by looks, body, name, status, and income will always have the leverage.

A s*x offender will get that job before a combat veteran will as will a college kid with a mere degree but no experience as will the female with a tiny skirt and a low cut shirt.

We live in a very materialistic society, so those are the values that get pushed. The &#039;perfect&#039; figure would be healthy and fit, well sculpted, toned, tanned, soft, smooth, and generally sexually appealing.

First, realize whatever it turns out to be...should NOT be a person&#039;s true ideal.  The USA ideal is, I think:

1.  Beauty

2.  Social Savvy and Friendliness

3.   Intelligence

4.  Street-Smart Cleverness

5.  Financially Well Off

Perfect human figure in USA-

male:  tall, dark, handsome and physically fit

female:  tall, buxom, size 4-8., and physically fit

The way society treats the body...:  &quot;As if it were the summation of the person, when in fact, it may tell NOTHING about them.&quot;

Women under 125 lbs no matter what our height is  - Long flowing hair - b***s and tight butt - and never look her age

Men definition/tone washboard stomach and if in to somewhat tight t-shirt with nice arms sticking out of them with a full head of hair or all bald
