I'd say 14, and no female at ANY age should wear too much; it makes them look cheap.

maybe about 12? or maybe when you start jr. high i think is good (: but like not very much in the beginning, probably just a little mascara, and a little eyeshadow, and then just face powder haha

In my opinion, the youngest appropriate age to start wearing makeup is at 14 or 15, if not older. Of course when you first start out you shouldn't wear too much makeup, but as you gradually get more experienced you can do more looks. A child in elementary school wearing makeup in honesty ... Out of this world unless it's clear lip gloss or something.

I don't understand the need to even wear makeup until you're over 18-22 (that's the age range you really start dating people that matter [typically speaking]).

However, teenagers tend to play and experience with makeup to see how makeup looks on them and have fun with it all together.

Caking on makeup just makes someone look made up, so stick with just blush [if needed], eyeliner, mascara, and lip gloss.

and not like smearing pounds of eyeliner, but enough so that people might notice your wearing makeup, you don't even have to put that much on

i think 12/13. try to put off wearing makeup for as long as you can, it's unhealthy for your skin and if you put too much on casually, when it comes to going out to a party or something you will look normal and not all dressed up and nice.

but i think you should just wear mascara if your skin is nice and natural looking.

I would say 6th grade. In 6th grade just start to wear, clear lip gloss/ chapstick with just a little mascara....when entering 7th grade start to wear more of a colored lip gloss with maybe some light colored eyeliner....and in 8th grade you can start to wear eyeliner and everything...thats what i did. Hope i helped :)

When you enter 7th grade it's a good time to start waring eyeliner ... like a brown one and maybe colored ones, then as you get older start with the blacks and then the powders and foundations, etc. ...

im thirteen and i wear chap stick eyeliner mascara and a bit of oose powder

12 is a good age to start with eyeshadow, lipgloss, and maybe concealer. Mascara would be alright I guess, but I think that should wait till 13. [along with powder, eyeliner, foundations, etc]
