In your opinion, what is the best kind of digital camera?

I may need to get a new digital camera so Im going to try to get a good one. In your opinion, what is the best digital camera I can get? and why?

If you can afford it you should try to step up to a DSLR. The entry level ones have good programed modes for when you are starting out but as you grow you can control more and more of the camera operations. They havea much much larger sensor so they give you better photos and you can change lenses on them to meet your needs

I always recommend the D40 or D60 to my frineds. They are Nikon cameras but Cannon , Sony and Olympus also make good cameras

Canon - Supershot or Powershot, easy to use, quality photos and most times they have a deal that includes a printer.

One that has about 5 or 6 megapixels, 4X optical  zoom and has an image stabilizer for shaky hands. Also one that can be set on auto or manual settings at $150- or less.  

The Canon PowerShot A590 IS.

My camera has 5.2 mega pixel, but I use 3 most of the time because it gives great results, is faster, and takes less memory. Also, it only has a 3 x optical zoom and 7x digital zoom. I never use the digital zoom because it works better to make pictures larger on the computer, but it seems to impress everyone with the quality of the pictures it takes ... like magic.

Many of the new cameras come with only an LCD display. Would suggest that you find one that has an optical view finder because the LCD is almost impossible to see in bright sun.

This could be the best slim line! Two of the ladies selling cameras at Best Buy and Walmart own this camera. Saw it for $249 at Walmart.

FUJIFILM - FinePix 10.0-Megapixel Digital also $249 at Walmart. The Walmart camera man owned this camera. This is more camera for the money.

Check Walmart and Best Buy for prices. The people at Best Buy can give you really great advise and good prices.

The second link will help you learn to clean the camera and battery contacts on any camera you buy. Digital Cameras require lots of power. If the contacts are not really good it can cause lots of problems. This is really important.

I really really like my kodak. I dnt know like wat model it is but my mom got it for me for my birthday to u no just have and take pictures with and I luv it it takes great photos! nd its PURPLE!!! haha
