I predict that this is the first of many similar moves on the part of Putin. He wants his Empire back, and we are not in a position to be of much help in a conventional way.

Russia v. Georgia.   We thought the European powers were secure in their borders.  Now Russia is rocking the boat.   It seems the only continent without changing borders is North America.  Oh, and Australia.  Mustn't forget them.
