  1. Angels vs. Giants 2002

    D-Backs vs. Yankees 2001

    Braves vs. Twins, 1991

  2. 3. 1991, because it went 7 games, and Game 7 went 10 innings, and all but one game was close.

    2. 1952, the best of the Subway Series between the Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers, and it also was in doubt until the final out of Game 7.

    1. 2000, because the Yankees put the Mets in their place.  Second place in New York.

  3. 1960 Pirates beat the Yankees despite being outplayed. (Yankees 55 runs, .338 batting average, 3 wins - Pirates 27 runs, .256 batting average, 4 wins)

1986 Mets over the Red Sox (Bill Buckner)

1997 Marlins over the Indians - Indians were close to winning their first title since '48 until Marlins scored in the 9th and 11th innings to win game 7.

  4. 2001- Yankees vs. Diamondbacks (the home team won every game!)

1960- Yankees vs. Pirates (Mazeroski's walk off home run)

1988- Dodgers vs. A's (Kirk Gibson's home run set the tone in that series)

  5. 1984, 1968 mmm, there was also 1935 and 1945 but since I wasn't around I can't decide which. Anyway all those years the Tigers won the World Series. What could be better than that?

  6. 1985 Royals over Cardinals in 7 games.

  7. 1986 Mets vs Red Sox, cause the Red Sox lost

1996 Yankees beat the Braves after dropping the first 2 games & started their winning 4 titles in a 5 years span

1970 Orioles vs Reds, just because I like Brooks Robinson

  8. Of the ones I have seen myself, while they were happening.

    85 Royals over Cardinals.

    2001 Dbacks over the yankees

    93, Jays over Phillies.

Edit: Guys, 2000 was Mets vs Yankees, 2001 was the Dbacks.

  9. 1991-6 games were won by 1 run and 4 of them ended in heroics..not to mention "And We'll See Ya Tomorrow Night" and than the 7th game Jack Morris the workhorse pitched 10 shut out innings as the Twins won 1-0

2000-Yankees vs. Diamondbacks....the Yankees looked poised until they thought playing that releiver a second time was a bright idea

The 1952 Subway series is one of the best

  10. 1906, the Cubs had the best record of the modern era, upset by the White Sox, 4 games to 2.

1972,  Swingin' A's beating the Big Red Machine in 7.

1919, The Black Sox scandal, to be remembered forever in infamy.

  11. I liked the 95 world series :) (I am a Braves fan)

  12. Angels v. Giants 2002

    D'backs v. Yanks 2000

    A's v. Giants 1989

EDIT: my mistake. you're rite. Idk why i said 2000.
