All of them are important, but "most" important would be the Setter.

They are like the QB in football, and the PG in basketball. The mind of the team. Without them...your offense will significantly deteriorate.

Well in my opinion the most important player is the one who wants to be the best not just one who just wants to be on the team to look good but other then that the front centre

well....id hav 2 say a combo of the setter and passer. passer givs the ball 2 setter, and setter sets up point.  they r also the 1 2 call if it is cross, middle, or line. the setter is extremely important!!

All positions are important, that's why it is a team sport.  You need all the positions in order to play efficiently and competitively.  You need passers who are accurate to pass the ball to the setter.  You need a setter who can put the ball anywhere on the court for the hitters to hit, and you need hitters to slam the ball down in hopes of scoring some points.  

Take out any of those positions and you really don't have a team or a chance at winning at all!

i think the back row middle or the libero...they usually have to get all the balls that come over, so they usually get it started

you can't have a most important player...

if it was just you playing a 6 person team you'd lose.

you need everyone on the team to make it work.

A setter can't set without a pass, a hitter can't hit without a set.

It depends on which way you look at it. Many would say the setter because she/he is the one who chooses who gets to hit the ball. Another would say the DS (Defence Specialist) libero becuase she/he is the one who usually gets most of the recieve balls and is in charge of calling if the ball is a 'down' ball or a 'free'.

u need all the players on the court...each player is important no matter how good they are...me and my best friend are our teams starting setters, our coach has tried to encourage us to talk to the team, tell them where they need to be, call what kinda of balls are comin (free, short, etc.), call the plays and take charge; but at the same time we try to encourage the other players on the team no matter wat...and always listen to the coach even if she's told you the same thing over and over again, it'll show u have true character :)
