As a 'middle class' person I find there is a lot of inverted snobbery towards us. Just because of an accent they think 'ooh she/s posh, she must love herselfg think she's better than us' which couldn't be further from the truth.

In all seriousness, the poor tend to view the rich with much more contempt.  The rich tend to look down on the poor as less than human sometimes though.  Middle-class.....kind of cool with most everyone.
