I can't decide between Kaleidoscope (the American one, not the British one) and East of Eden. Or maybe it's Moby Grape or Earth Opera? Any other possibilities?

  1. Earth,Wind and Fire.

  2. The Turtles

    The Grassroots

  3. Thin Lizzy. The reason Moody Blues didn't receive enough 'air time' was because most stations wanted music two minutes and thirty seconds long.Underground FM was born and would play anything that broke the mold.

  4.   I would say The Moody Blues.

  5. The Moody Blues.   I know they are still recording, so not "lost", but I just feel they didn't get the notoriety they deserved.  I loved their song "The Story in Your Eyes".

  6. The Doors. Loved their music. Everything changed when Jim Morrison died of a drug overdose.   Poppy

  7. Canned Heat.

  8. I think it is a band called Love. Headed by a black dude with white musicians, they did some awesome stuff in the 60s, like 'Andmoreagain'.

  9. Lettermen

  10. I have to go with the Moody Blues there  great. and there are so many its true.

  11. Tommy James and the Shondels!  Sweet cherry Wine was one of my favorites of this band. Their best known song was Crimson & Clover.

  12. The Moody Blues ,did they have Justin Hayward ,if so His Mother was my Music teacher at school ,He came from my home town in England and once owned a music shop here called Strings and things ,Nice looking boy ,I think I would have to say Freddie and the Dreamers and Gerry and the Pacemakers Such fun groups ,and both  G and F sadly passed on I believe

  13. So many . . . Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, Herman's Hermits, The Monkeys , the Young Rascals and Strawberry Alarm Clock . . .just to name a few . . .

  14. The turtles were robbed.

  15. I too have to agree with the Moody Blues being somewhat lost. This band never got the notoriety in the US as it has overseas. Yes they have a big following in the US and yes many albums were bought, but when it came to air time, they did not receive their just dues. FM was only where you heard them if at all back in the 60s and for all of us baby boomers, you will recall that AM was very popular back then. A lot of it was the DJ's not playing their music. I don't think they knew where to place it catagorically speaking. I've heard many songs that I felt were not worthy of being on the radio back in the day. The Moody Blues albums are many. I've had the privilege of seeing the Moody Blues in concert in the last 10 yrs in the US. I missed their last concert, hopefully near me, but am holding out for that one last concert. Before long, many of the bands that have been still touring from the 60s and 70s that we have loved are going to retire. They are in my top 10 favs of all bands.
