Ummmmh! It seems to depend on the way it is built.  If it is about the same in size at the front as at the base, then that might be what most female christian are interested in, but if it is smaller at the front end than at the base area that is likely not what they would like.  May experience has taught me this and I am happy that mine is uniformly built and can feel most comfortable holding any lady's bible.
