depends on where youre from. Im in europe so i want to go to Maui someday, cos you can lie on the beach some days, and there lots to see on days you want to do stuff..like volcanoes, whale watching etc..

but if your in north america, then you prob wanna go further, so i would say somewhere like new zealand for amazing scenery and lots to do, the maldives if you want a sun holiday with the real clear water and beautiful beaches. Or Italy for somewhere really romantic...like florence.

Personally, i would just go somewhere relatively local and nice for one night, and then pocket the rest of the money.

Seems kind of silly to me to spend so much money on a few days, which you could use towards a down payment on buying a home.

South/Central America or Thailand because of the exchange rate. If you dont want a beach, Argentina is great, but there are many places you can go. Stay away from Europe, especially the UK and the Carribean. Good luck.
