  1. 1) Jui Jitsu

    2) Krav Maga or Systema

    3) Krav Maga or Systema

    EDIT

I missed out an art you should definately look into, it goes by 3 names: Kali, Eskrima, Arnis de Mano (usually it just goes by Arnis rather than Arnis de Mano). I am not sure of it's ground capabities because I haven't looked into it all that much but I can assure you that it's extremely effective when standing.

  2. Don't listen to Jack D he's an idiot. Muay Thai and BJJ are the most popular combination but as long as you work HARD, everything works.

  3. Its a tough question to answer because some styles are built for people and their physique. Wrestling is very good as far as a base for working take downs and controlling people and using your strength. Jiu-Jitsu is definitely important even if you just use it for defense against someone else's. As far as striking i would say Muay thai would have priority over boxing and kickboxing since it incorporates punches, kicks, knees and clinching.

  4. martial arts combined with firearm weapons training

  5. To be honest, this answer will vary by weight classes.  What would work for a lightweight probably wouldnt work for a heavyweight.

That being said, Ill use the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions for my opinion.  I personally think the best fighters would have a muay thai base with either a solid jui jitsu or wrestling background.  I choose muai thai over boxing simply because it teaches you not only to strike but to use your legs as weapons also.  And if you mix that with a wrestling background, not only could a fighter use the clinch quite effectively, but he can transition much easier to a takedown.  Then the background in wrestling will allow you to dominate and manipulate your opponent to your liking.  The only drawback to having wrestling over BJJ is, you start to lack the submission aspect of the ground game, but you sure can make up for it with effective ground and pound!!!!

  6. Muy Thai and Jiu-Jitsu.

TKD, Karate, etc. GET OWNED by those forms of martial arts. Wrestling, boxing, and Judo get my respect too.
