In your opinion what did happen to Madelaine mcCann

I have never asked a question on this subject, only answered some.

Im curious what people actually believe happened to her.

madeleine died in the apartment on the 2/3rd of may and her parents have all the answers to the findings

She must have wandered off and someone's taken the oppertunity and snatched her. I only say so because she had a habit of wandering off, her parents left the door unlocked (bloody idiots) and if i were the sort of person to steal a wee girl from her bedroom, why risk waking up the twins? why not take them with me?

It's all a bit strange to me.

I think it has something to do with the parents, I remember watching the news when it happened and thinking there was something odd.  When we got to know the McCanns through tv publicity/newspapers etc it made me really think that the Mc Canns with their IVF treatment to have Madelaine must be completely shattered at what had happened but they came across rather cold. Gerry's blog had me feeling rather angry with his ''life goes on'' feeling to it. I have always wondered if when they had Maddie she was given so much attention then twins came along she was kind of pushed out, most children do play up when a new sibling arrives, I have always wondered if this was a 'disappearance of convenience' I know it is a horrid thought and I hope  I am wrong and she was taken by a childless couple and is living happily ever after.

my beliefes and that of others wont affect the status of the case. In my own opinion I believe she was abducted, and I believe that she will never be found. I dont think this question should be asked online either and if you dont like my answer you  can go and **** yourself. Its people like you that caused her parents the pain they went through.

She was snatched out of her bed by some FREEK and is probably still alive somewhere. Held prisoner and god knows what kind of life she has been living. I hope , a childless couple stole her and her treating her well. However, that's as likely as a gang of paedophiles having her.

It's heartbreaking for her parents and family and dreadful beyond words for her.

She most likely woke up, found herself alone-AGAIN, (her parents apparently had done this before) and wandered off to find her folks.  She was no doubt abducted and murdered-typically in such cases within 12-24 hours after disappearance the odds of finding the victim alive are nil.  Additionally, nearly all abductions are committed by someone the victim knows.  

Finally, how well or thoroughly the Portuguese police investigated is a matter of conjecture-certainly the British press hounding the investigators and publishing almost hourly updates-which conveniently tips off the perpetrator about how close the authorities are, didn't help.

As far as "putting the family through...x", well they kept going to the press-giving interviews, and keeping the public's prurient interest high.  So I'm less sympathetic to them than I would otherwise be.

Most prob abduction, they left a pattern for any stalker to follow leaving the children alone night after night it left them wide open to this unfortunatey :)

i hate to say it but i think she was killed very early on after the "abduction",

what i want to know is the parents may/or may not have had something to do with it but in this country if you leave a child unattended like they did you would get done for child neglect so why didn`t they??  if if left my children alone night after night it wouldn`t be long before the authorities came knocking my door

The most recent thinking concerening the disappearance/abduction of Maddie, is that she may have been abducted to order by a paedophile gang operating somewhere in Belgium, possibly in the Brussels area.

Sadly I think she is dead, probably kidnapped, then murdered.  I think her parents made an error in their judgment, however they will have to live with that for the rest of their life.  I think they have been unfairly treated by some press.  All parents make bad decisions regarding their children, however most with no tragic ending.  Their decision to have dinner and leave the children sleeping is a common custom in Europe. I don't think this will ever have a happy ending, even if the child is found alive, no telling what she will have been though.
