This year its tough to tell if you ask me.

Over in the Big 12 we have Oklahoma in the south, but beware, those longhorns and those Red Raiders could impose a threat.

Up North man this is a race. We got Kansas and Missouri , oh boy,

In SEC east clearly everyone pick is georgia, but involved heavily is

florida and tenn, s.carolina will do its job and throw in a monkeys wrench.

In the west its starting to seperate a bit more, LSU is the clear favorite,

great effort from Aurburn and Alabama, but it'll be a battle for second in the west more than for first.

Ah, PAC10. Everyone screaming USC, be honest with you I think Arizona St might end up taking this one, solid on both sides of the ball, something even as talented as USC cant claim. Then we have Oregon who too can be involved in this Pac 10 crown.

Big 10. Ohio St, then its everyone else, under normal circumstances.

But this year is shapeing up to like last year and we all know that was far from normal. We have Wisconsin and Illinoise fighting to be king in the Big 10 and Ohio St is looking up a tall mountain by playing both on the road.

Big East. West Virginia is no longer alone. S.Florida returns with 20 starters, Big East co-champions UConn returns with 19, then with the emergence of Pitt as well this year. Oh boy , what a race. Cincinnati too will play spoiler makers too. West Virginia final two games of the season could not only have Big East championship on the line, but could easily have National title hopes on the line as well. Deja-vu

ACC: Clemson suppose to have its break out year, heard this before,

Virginia Tech same ole same ole, the Deacons are heavily involved in this race and Miami and North Carolina will make some noise too if not spoils things for Clemson thats for sure.

Out all these, I see that its goind to be The Big 12 and the Big East

providing the most drama for its conference champion, allot of things to determine who's who toward end of the season.

SEC came close too second but I give the tilt the Pac 10, not as much drama as the first two but its gets second when we learn USC didnt win its conference outright but a tie with Arizona St, USC wins

tie breaker.

  1. It has to be the SEC! They have some of the top teams in the country, and not to mention the reigning National Champion. You can't beat watching Georgia, LSU, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, South Carolina, and Kentucky goin at it every saturday!

  2. Sorry, I have to laugh at the first answer...look out for Kentucky and South Carolina, whoa they are tough...the only contenders for an SEC championship is Tennessee (very favorable schedule, (home to FL, away for auburn and Georgia, everything else should be pretty easy for them), Auburn, Georgia, and my pick Florida....wild card...LSU, but with a new QB running the team, they are SURE to lose against FL, Georgia and/or Auburn

the drama is mostly in the Big 12, Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas and Texas Tech and a wildcard in Kansas...although I think they will lose against Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas, and/or Texas Tech

  3. Missouri will go undefeated in the Big 12.  Every SEC team will lose to at least one or two other SEC teams, because they are all pretty evenly matched.  Ohio State should have an easy time with the Big 10.

  4. Depends on your definition of drama. I see the SEC being a very tight race, with the possibility of both division champs having 2 losses. The big 12 has 4 legit contenders, and the pac ten and the big ten both have the chance for a huge upset. I think the big east will be a walk for WVU, and the ACC should be the Clemson show. I think they lose a game or two, but win the conference pretty easily. As an OSU fan, I will be watching the big ten, as always. The conference I will be watching next closely is probably the big 12, followed by the SEC.

  5. sec baby...

  6. It will be the Big 12. Oklahoma has Sam Bradford running the show as the most efficent QBs in college football. But Missouri is a powerhouse this year. With Chase Daniel running the show along with Jeremy Maclin and Chase Coffman, there is no doubt that they have on of the best offensive units in the country and a very under-rated defense. Look out in the south for Texas Tech this year. Michael Crabtree and Grahm Harrel make a Texas Tech team that could upset a team like Oklahoma if they don't watch out. With a conference that is returning 11 of 12 starting QBs there in no doubt that this will be the dominant conference of the 2008-09 season.
