Beijing was fantastic but for me it will always be Sydney!!!

Beijing.

Most of the negatives, especially about the opening, are way overblown. The "fake" footprint fireworks actually happened, but were just too difficult and dangerous to film. The fake girl singing to me is the same as lip syncing, which happens a LOT at concerts. Even in the last Olympics, it was revealed that the famous opera singer lip synced. The smog issue became a non issue as many outdoor records were broken, and they had 2 weeks of almost straight sun, only interrupted by some rain that cleared the air.

beijing was the most well organised, beautiful opening ceremony though i think spending that much money just for the country's reputation isnt right considering who many poor ppl are in china

the problem with Beijing is there trying to hard to make a good world image for themselves and being deceitful in the process. they faked the firework show on the opening night.and its awful what they did to the girl who won the contest for singing there anthem.i mean it was a long strict grueling contest  and she finally won,just to find out they thought she was to ugly to get on stage but she had a beautiful voice so they found a cute girl put her on stage and had the not so pretty one sing out of site(it was prerecorded) they admitted to all this after they were accused(like they had a choice)and its pretty bad that they had to pass new laws  to make the bird(finger) and spitting illegal. i think there government is nuts.

I'm biased but i say Sydney was the best.

Athens was just ok

Beijing was awesome  (It should have been since they spent 40 billion on it)

But the best way to light the flame has to go to Barcelona when they shot the flaming arrow into the cauldron.

i don' t know, but i know that 2008 is the suckiest Olympic of all time.

the olympic where the hose seem to do it for themself rather than for the world community.

anyway i seem to know it long before the game start that it will turn out this way. this is what will happen when you hand over the international game to those narow-mind can think only local and themselves!

Sydney was #1. It was the first Olympics I watched. I got up early to watch the Closing Ceremony with my Dad, and it was worth it. Salt Lake is #2. It was exciting too. Beijing a close third. I didn't find Torino or Athens that great.
