  1. It depends on how fast you mature and the ability to make good decisions :)

  2. i would say 18 because i am 18 and i can do any job i choose to do there are jobs which requir pple who are 18+, so independence has to come with money if you can work then you can be independent.

  3. At the age your allowed to vote .

  4. 21-23

By then you should have made enough life mistakes to learn from and avoid in the future

  5. 20-22

  6. This is purely subjective.  There is no one answer for everyone - sometimes a teen needs to get out of an unhealthy environment - so the ideal age for that teen to be happy/safe would be different.  Sometimes, teens are very close to their parents and live with them throughout college.  It just depends on one's home life and the maturity level of the individual person involved.

  7. 18 you should pay room & board at home or move if working...if a student then parents may be willing to let you stay free

  8. No age limit restricts independence.  A five year old can enjoy freedom while he plays.  A thirty-year old man has limited freedom only.  He must obey the law and cannot do whatever he wants.  We can say that independence is a relative concept  and a grown up man has more freedom than a teenager.   This is because of the essential maturity required for leading a safe life. Taboos for children are often ment for their security.  After eighteen it is not fair to depend on the parents unless their is no other choice.    U.K.Atiyodi, Kandangali, Kerala, India

  9. I would actually say 16 or 17.  I'm 16 at the moment and feel that I do have enough sense to survive in "the real world".  Once you get into your later teens, there's just a huge craving for independence (I know I'm feelin' it!).  Maybe 18 is one of those "just to make sure" markers.

  10. Well I know that in a recent study in Australia the average age for moving out of home is around 25. But that's more because of financial burdens then indipendance...

    17 - Australia =)

  11. The age of reason, 25.

  12. the answer maybe N/A; because after all you need people to help you out with stuff. But if you mean when to move out on your own, it really depends on your maturity and your ability to sustain your finances and other personal things without losing it

  13. it really depends on the maturity level of the person in question. At minimum- 18 years old.  But some people aren't ready until maybe they are in their 20's.
