  1. Ovechkin

  2. Crovechkin

  3. Fleury? hahahaha. its Nikky Lidstrom hands down

  4. Forward-Daniel Alfredsson

    Defencemen- Dion Phaneuf

    Goalie- Chris Osgood

  5. Maisie

  6. CROSBY by far even if he has trouble growing a playoff beard LOL

    ps

HE IS HOTTIE WITH A BODY

  7. It's either Brendon Morrow or Marty Turco...okay so I'm biased...but hey these two players are more than just a stat sheet great, they give more of themselves than nearly any other player in the NHL.

No media hype...just great hockey players!!!

  8. Forwards - Ovechkin or Crosby as much as I hate to throw those names out there again.

    Defense:Lidstrom, Rafalski or Scott Stevens

Goalies-Must agree about Brodeur. Though also Henrik Lundquist (HATE admitting that one since I hate the rangers) and Hassek are amazing as well

  9. Alfredsson because he does everything

  10. Thornton is my fav player, but until he actually starts trying he wont be the best. Ovie is the best. Just watch him.

  11. I think Eric Staal is the best player in the NHL. He really took leadership in the last half of the season when Brind'Amour got injured. Most hockey players aren't good leaders in times of pressure, but he really showed what a great hockey player he was, and what great leadership skills he has to offer.

  12. There are so may to choose from, and you could make arguments for all of them, but I think that Evgeni Malkin is fantastic and has great potential...he may not be the best in the league right now, but man can the kid play and he has to be close.

The best defensemen is Nik Lidstrom...hands down.

I've think the best goalie is Evgeni Nabokov. WOW he is amazing.

My pick for forward has to go to Ovechkin with Croby and Malkin a close 2nd and 3rd.

I am excited about all of the remarkable talent in the NHL right now.

  13. Zetterberg. Scoring all of those goals, defending so superbly he's a Selke Finalist and never giving up an inch of the ice.

Someday, Crosby may be just as good a two-way player. Crosby and Ovechkin are so fun to watch. They are very exciting players but aren't matured yet. I'm reminded of the early days of Lemieux and Yzerman, before each learned to backcheck.

I agree with Kody about Brodeur, without taking anything away from Roy. And Brodeur never had a temper tantrum, demanding to be traded. He's been a Devil since the 1980s.

  14. CROSBY!!!

  15. Jaromir Jagr.... always has been always will be

  16. Big Bird Joe Thornton, big, fast, strong, skilled, and smart

  17. Ovechkin.

I would say Zetterberg coming in as a close second. Why? because he's a GREAT two way Player also.

  18. Best two way player..PP...PK...Alfredsson

  19. I used to say Jarome Iginla but I think he has lost the title with 3 straight 1st round exits

I think it Pavel Datsyuk does everything good except fight but he checks smart and also he makes Zetterberg an elite player.

  20. Nick Lidstrom. The guy still plays 25 minutes a night against  other teams top lines and still ends up in the top 3 in +/- every single year. He does this without being physical, he understands the game so well and anticipates plays so well that he is almost never caught out of position. He see's the ice better than anyone I have seen after Gretzky retired and always makes the right pass. Add in the fact that he does all this incredible stuff on the defensive end and yet is an elite offensive defenseman who also ends up in the top 5 in defenseman scoring. The NHL is full of incredible players and anyone can make great arguments for their favorite player but for my money there is no more complete player on the ice any given night. There are plenty close but Nick has done it for 20 years....that is impressive!

  21. After watching these finals, I would say Datsyuk. He is a great two-way forward. He is a fantastic stickhandler, AND he hits! (He's also Russian, so...)

  22. SIDNEY CROSBY He is my favorite.

  23. in the old times probably maurice richard ,jean beliveau, dickie moore, yvan cournoyer , guy lafleur. now andrei and sergei kostitsyn

  24. Foward: Jarome Iginla

    Defensemen: Nick Lidstrom

    Goalie: Martin Brodeur

  25. Crosby, Malkin, Ovechkin, Nabokov

  26. Alexander the Great or Sid the Kid!

  27. Martin Brodeur... The best goalie to ever play the game... Sorry Patrick Roy fans, in a matchup between Brodeur and Roy, Brodeur wins. By the time his career is over, he will have surpassed Roy's wins but he will be first in shut outs as well.

Hes so consistent every year its amazing
