People (in general, no one in particular) suck. They are crappy witnesses, and will say and do anything to get their point across/further their agenda/cover their @ss. This, from first-hand experience with dealing with a wide cross-section of society. And stupid. People do the dumbest things for no (or dumber) reasons. And try to shift the blame elsewhere. And manipulative. Controlling. Selfish. Egotistical. I could go on, but I think you get the point.
