I know the rule that if u get exodia than u automatcly win but if the gods r on the field than is that win negated, in the anime, they said that they where stronger and could beat him, so just wondering what u people think, leave good comments and thanks.

  1. It wouldn't be negated.

To win with Exodia, all you need is all five pieces in your hand and then you automatically win. The God cards have no effect on Exodia. If there was another card that specifically said that when all God cards are on the field Exodia's effect is negated then it would work, but on their own, they cannot negate Exodia's effect.

If your opponent had all of the God cards on the field and you had four pieces of Exodia in your hand and then on your turn you drew it in your Draw Phase, then you would automatically win, no matter what. As soon as you pick up that final piece, you win. No Trap or Quick-Play Spell card can stop that. Monster effects are also useless.

  2. Why would the win be negated?  None of the God cards affect Exodia.  To win with Exodia, all a player needs is the 5 parts of Exodia in the player's hand.  Ra in Phoenix mode only destroys all monsters on the field, not on the player's hand.  Slifer doesn't do anything either.  Slifer's attack and defense point is equal to the number of cards in the player's hand.  Obelisk has 4000 ATK/DEF, and it doesn't affect any cards in a player's hand.  It can have infinite attack but it doesn't negate Exodia.

  3. Dueling in the anime world varies from actual card play. In actual card play, when the gods are altogether, nothing happens, thats y exodia wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
