In yugioh can you ritual sommon a monster on the first turn

I was playing against my brother in yogioh and he said that he dosent think that ritual summoning on the first turn is allowed can you tell me if it is or if it is not

of course  you can..Flip summon, and Special summon are unlimited.... so you can perform as many as you can in a single turn.. while you have all the  requirements!

You can Ritual Summon a monster any time you want but you need to follow the requirements for the card. Also, if there is a card on the field or stops summoning then you won't be able to.
