I was looking at stardust dragon and in the description it says 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

You can Tribute this card to negate the activation of a Spell Card, Trap Card or Effect Monster's effect that destroys a card(s) on the field and destroy that card. If you negate an effect this way, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard during your End Phase."

Ok i was just wondering what was a tuner monster?

  1. it would say tuner down by its effect  get the yugioh 5ds starter deck its full with them

  2. it says on the card something like Warrior/Tuner or Aqua/tuner. Any card that doesn't say tuner on it is a non-tuner monster.

  3. Hello. A Tuner is a special Monster needed to Summon a Synchro Monster. The Monster will have the word Tuner next to its type (for example, "Warrior/Tuner). To Summon a Synchro Monster, you must sacrifice a Tuner plus a number of non-Tuner monsters. The levels of all your Monsters, including your Tuner, must add up to the EXACT level of the Synchro Monster you want to summon. For example, if you want to Synchro Summon your Stardust Dragon, your Tuner and your other Monsters need to add up to exactly eight stars. Keep in mind that you do not have to use all of your Monsters.

Hope this answer helps. Happy Dueling!!!
