Inahled dust!!!!?

Question

my friend brought me his lizard to babysit....he told me it hadn't been cleaned in six months......so me being ocd i cleaned it.....when i dumped the sand dust filled the air and i took a few good breaths before i could get out of the washroom leaving a chalky taste in my mouth....can i get sick from this???

don't panic honey, if you were going to get sick from this you would have started to notice symptoms by now, the main risk is salmonella but you would notice if you had that as you would not be at your computer now, you would be fixed to the toilet, so i think you are pretty safe, just remember to Wash your hands if you handle your friends lizard, best of luck honey
