Inbee Park says she is fully fit for the US Women's Open
South Korean Inbee Park, who finished tied for the fourth position at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship 2012 last week, has said that she is fully prepared to face her competitors at the US Women’s Open 2012, scheduled to begin from July 5-8, at Blackwolf
Run, Kohler, America.
Park displayed an electrifying performance at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship 2012, as she restricted most of the top-ranked LPGA contenders to lower positions on the leaderboard.
Analysts said that the field confirmed for the US Women’s Open is fearsome, as it is featuring almost all the big names in women’s golf.
Park spoke to the media during her last tournament, saying she is brimming with confidence and will try to keep her rival at bay in the upcoming battle.
The South Korean golfer had been facing trouble making solid putts for a long time. However, she decided to take her training more seriously, and now she has managed to fix most of her mistakes.
With renewed strength and confidence she gained from a good performance in recent tournaments, Park is ready to prove her mettle at the third major tournament of the 2012 season.
Expressing her confidence in her putting, the golfing sensation said that she is more accurate than ever, and is also working on her swing.
“I'm hitting the ball great.  I'm putting really great, too.  I went through a minor swing change this year and I think it's getting better and better.  I'm hitting the ball better and getting my confidence up, so I think that's helped me a lot, and I'm
definitely rolling the ball good,” Park said.
She went on to say that her driving strength has increased greatly, and now she can land the ball almost exactly where she wants to. Park shared that she is pretty glad that she performed well at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, and will try to play
the next event with the same approach.
“I think I hit the ball almost perfect today.  I didn't miss any fairways, missed a couple of greens, that was about it. Had a great front nine, but the back nine wasn't the best back nine”.
