Inboard v.s. outboard motors?

What is the difference, in terms of the wake?

say, an outboard 75hp murcury v.s. an inboard yamaha 135hp?

How big should the wake for the yamaha if it's on a 08 bayliner 175 bowrider?

Tell me if there are any crutial factors.

Get an inboard outboard motor good wake without the maintenance hassle

Generally inboards weigh more than O.B so the rear end weight contributes to a bigger wake. That why most ski boats who "wake board" carry extra ballast in the form of water to build up a bigger wake.
