  1. Inbreeding is where people often mate and reproduce from within the same gene pool, often the same family or tribe or village.

    The implications would be arranged marriages, disease proliferation, economic advantages, and often patriarchy.  They often see girls as property and by intermarrying, they're keeping the money and the property (girls) in the family
