"I used to look at the France squad without paying much attention, because if you start thinking too much about being selected, you become less efficient with your club.”
Etienne Capoue said that although he didn’t pay much attention to this matter in past, playing for France always has been his dream and feels that his hard work has finally paid off after being selected in Les Bleus squad.
"Still, it was always a goal. There was always sadness when I saw that I wasn't included in the past. But now, all the hard work has paid off."
The 24-year-old managed to make 28 Ligue 1 appearances for Toulouse last season scoring 3 goals in the process.
