Question:

Income qualification for adoption in Washington state?

Does anyone have any idea ? My fiance & I both have fertility problems, we can't afford IVF treatments. We don't have much money, but want to be parents. We're getting married next year, & hope to have a child within 5 years. We are good people, its a stable home. Neither of us have criminal records, no drugs or anything like that. I'm really scared that having low incomes will stop us from having children.

  1. I would recommend looking into foster care.  It is relatively inexpensive.

I would also recommend doing lots of research on adoption, check out:

    Good Luck  :-)

  2. I would suggest that the both of you get extensive counseling for the loss your suffering from before hunting down children to fill your voids. Learn about who adoption is for.  If you do adopt before healing and you get a child that can't bond with you, it could get very ugly.
