I don't really know anyone at the high school since most of my friends continued to a catholic high school. i have one friend who's going with me but we most likely have completely different classes and stuff. basically, i know not to mess with upperclassmen and stuff, but is there anything else i should know before i go?

  1. be yourself. dont try to create drama. dont be scared. try to make new friends.

  2. High School isn't really a big transition from middle school at all. No one gets shoved in lockers, no one gets shoved in trashcans, or all that stupid stuff you see in movies. Yeah, us upperclassmen are cooler than you, and we'll tease you about it, but we won't cause you any physical harm JUST for that reason.

  3. well i was a freshman last year and i expected some rumours and the upper classmen stuff bit its really nothing its like starting middle school just the same no freshman friday bull and messing with the upperclassmen stuff was really nothing since me and my friends were clowns we actually made some junior and senior friends by makin them laugh :)  its really just moving up a grade thats all :D Good Luck

  4. Well I was a freshman last year and it's nothing like what people say. Upperclassmen are the best, especially Juniors and Seniors because they're more mature. Don't be afraid to be yourself, you get to start over new! This guy came to my class in the middle of the year and he was so weird and random and stuff, but everyone wanted to be his friend because he wasn't afraid to be who he really was. Your friend will look out for you too, so don't worry. Just have good judgement and don't worry about it too much. Just enjoy highschool it's da bomb! :D God bless :D

  5. study hard, don't slack. your freshman year counts. upperclassmen don't really mess with you. they might tease you at pep-rallies and stuff but thats all. get your basic school supplies. you'll make a lot of friends. its not a big change. but you'll have a lot of fun and the year will pass by sooo quickly.

  6. Being a freshman isnt that bad. I know from expierence, I was a freshman last year. Everyone says that its horrible and they tell you stories but its not that bad and chances are you will have classes with most of your friends. Its not like everyone says. I was so scared to be the freshmeat and come into the new school. But you will know atleast one person in your class, guaranteed. If you dont know alot of people I suggest just find a group and stick with them. Get to know the people in that group. Groups are good in High School. All I can say is dont mess up on your studies because freshman year is so fun you get to talk and eat and drink in class and not as many rules, so keep your mind focuesd on your studies. I promise you you will regret it if you dont. Also, you will notice theres alot of drama in High school but honestly I think middle school was worse.

    :)

    Good luck !!

  7. Its not all that great.

    People are usually nice.

    Don't be cliche?

  8. make friends, make good grades, and don't regret anything! make the best of these 4 years! have fun!

  9. just keep to yourself basically.

  10. well besides the whole friends deal or not.

really try hard your first semester.

i regret it, but i screwed around my first semester and i really wish i could redo it.

    so study hard =]

  11. try to get a map before the first day of school. know where the wings are [english wing, math hallway...ect.]

if you get the list of class rooms then map out where you are going :) so you'll know the best routes to take.

buy your basic school supplies beforehand [a binder, folder, notebook/paper,pens,pencils,backpack] before hand that way all you'll have to buy after the first day is the necessities for each class.

don't worry about being harassed by upperclassman on the first day. i was a freshman last year and nothing happened to me OR anyone i knew.

just remember: you were in middle school at one time with the juniors and sophmores (when you were in 6th grade!) and the seniors really keep to themselves. dont be nervous-highschool is a time to have fun and be with your friends!

  12. I know this sounds shallow, but make sure you don't dress strangely. You don't want the kids there to get the wrong idea. So dress in something comfy, simple and pretty. Also, be polite, open and friendly. Try and make new friends!! If you follow my advice, you'll be on the rode to a great year...Hope I helped.
