Incoming phone call does not display number or name?

I keep getting phone calls that my caller ID displays Incoming Call no other information also it never shows up on my caller id, it's like the call never happened other then the fact the calls comes a few times a day. any ideas

does it display other CID info when other people call in? If it does, then someone is blocking their CID from coming through. Hit *77 on your phone and it will block calls from coming in that do not display their info.

If you are not getting any CID info at all, then verify with the phone company that you really do have the service. I paid for the service once and my bill reflected that I had it, but according to them I didn't have it.

are you using a mobile phone or landline? If you are using a landline phone, make sure the caller id reader is plugged in. If you are using a mobile phone, then the problem is probably a company issue, or the number cannot be displayed because the caller infomation is unavailable.

they can block showing their number.  All the info is inside the phonebook on the first couple of pages.
