Increase laptop performance...?

Question

im using hyundai M-Life laptop... it had 1 gb ram and 120gb hdd... my prob is, my laptop always get lag and stuck if can't open certain program.. sometimes it can and sometimes it cant.. how to improve it? the first time im use it, its so fast and good actually.. but now.. totally d**n.. i have made a disk cleanup, defragment and so on.. help me plss...

Install adaware, spyware, and antivirus software. If you have a virus go into safe mode and run the anivirus software from there. Adding more ram should help as well. Good luck.

make a backup of important documents, then reformat your disk back to factory conditions.

You could also switch to 2 gb RAM.
