Lately i have been having significantly more frequency in dreams i remember than in months past. Basically, for the last 2 or 3 weeks, i've been having about 3 or 4 dreams a week that stick with me when i wake up. That in contrast to the 1 or 2 a month i'd have before.
My diet has not changed, i sleep in the same bed. i do exercise more now that it is nice outside, but the increase in exercise started more like 6-8 weeks ago (although i am fit and have worked out my whole life). The dreams do not have an obvious common theme, nor are they necessarily bad or good. they involve different people every time, some are more anxiety filled than others.
The only odd thing is that a few days ago, i was having an anxiety laden dream and then realized i was dreaming while i was in my dream...i couldn't control anything, but i did realize i was dreaming in my dream.
Any ideas why the frequency of dreams has increased lately? i don't mind it, i like dreaming, but i'm curious.
