Incredible hulk and iron man question ???

Don't you just love how marvel is now linking characters in their movies ?!

In "iron man" at the end, nick fury comes to him and tells him about the "avenger" initiative.

And in "the incredible hulk" tony stark (i.e. iron man) comes to tell the general about the avenger initiative.

Not only does that show a clear link in the movie setting, but it also establishes a chronological order for the movie events.

i.e. the events of the iron man movie takes place before the events of the hulk movie.

how cool is that!!

To me, this is the kind of thing, that has been missing in superhero movies, to often each movie takes place within its own world, ignoring the fact that many of these characters are supposed to knoow each other.

For example in neither the batman nor the superman movies, is mention ever made of the other hero.

However I like what marvel has started with the hulk and ironman, i hope they can re-aquire spiderman so that they can include him as well.

  1. Well, the directors just didn't decide to "now link these characters together". They're setting up for The Avengers film which is based off a comic that includes Ant-Man, Wasp, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and the Hulk. It first appeared in 1963. And they wouldn't put spider-man in because he was never part of the original Avengers.

  2. *Co-sign.

  3. I hope they include spider-man he is the one of the coolest superheros...and if they do replace toby mquire who the h**l are they gonna replace him with?? he is a great spider-man

  4. I think that a sequel to the spiderman series but they might replace toby mcguire also if it happens it probably won't join besides they're working on captain America and Thor

  5. The wasp isnt getting her own movie any time soon. And you forgot about Captain America who is getting his own movie very soon.  The problem with them getting Spider man is the rights are  owned by Sony and The X-men and Fantastic Four are owned by Fox. So I doubt it but at least Wolvie is getting his own movie.  Right now they (spidey and wolverine) are both on an Avengers team in the comics.
