  1. no, you will just lose..

  2. are you guilty?

  3. Forget it I did the same thing, you have not got a chance.

  4. you wont have a leg to stand on

  5. You'll be wasting your time.  They dont listen - they just want the revenue in.

  6. no harm in trying, but don't build your hopes up

  7. It's always worth appealing, be very apologetic and explain that it was an honest mistake, not an attempt to park illegally for free. It might just work. (It did for me when I forgot to move my motorbike after helping my daughter get my wife out of the car into her wheelchair)

  8. Appeal it. If it was your own car and not a relatives/friends, you can ask them to look at the tax disc because that will show disabled.

  9. Nothing ventured nothing gained, but I think it is highly unlikely you will succeed. Read in the local paper of a chap who put his disabled badge the wrong way round, he appealed, and lost, yet abled bodied drivers get away with parking in disabled bays.

    But try and good luck.

  10. Yes.  Tell them the badge fell on the floor and you didn't notice.  They won't want the sad faced picture in the local paper!
