Indecisive?

i just can't decide on ANYTHING. which school to go to, which group of friends, what to do when i'm older. people ask me all the time and, I don't know what to say. Is there anything that's going to help me decide? some philosophical smart advice or anything?

If you need an answer to say to nosy people then just say "I'll take the decision when time comes".

But if you want to know what decisions to make first you must decide what you would like to do now. Yes, I didn't say in the future, because if you are young, then there is time to decide. So take an intermediate choice that will satisfy you now and leave you time to think tomorrow.

If today you say you want to study law at Harvard, you will seem wise, centered, mature, but you will be fooling everyone including yourself. So think about something that you really want to do now even if its not "mature" or transcendental.

Backpacking through Europe

Volunteer for a presidential candidate

Whatever satisfies you.

First you have to know what you want to do with you life. Look at the options around, (career wise), decide on what you want to do, it has to be something you have a passion of.. The kind of person you are will help you decide on the kind of friends you want to be with..
