Question:

Indefinite Leave to Remain Refusal Appeal Success chance?

by  |  earlier

I am on HSMP visa for last 4years and my application for INdefinite leave to remain was refused. I am planning to appeal against it with a solicitor. What are the chances of my appeal being successful? Also I have been in UK for last 6 years, first 2 on Permit free training visa. Will that count in the total time required to be eligible for ILR ?Thanks

  1. to qualifying for ILR, it's 5 legal years continously.  if your applying on the basis of your 4 years HSMP, you are not yet qualified.

but as you've said you've been here 6 years. if you can prove that you are here 5 years and more legally and continously. big chance!

  2. just sod off

    your chances are slim

there are thoisands/millions of you lot already here

    enough too many now

so what do you have to offer my country and why should you stay

  3. It depends why it was refused. Was there a valid reason or was it more a case of insufficient evidence and information?

I will say though you have a much better chance with a solicitor than without.

    Good luck with everything.

  4. I am a bit confused with what HSMP and ILR stand for? Is your reason to stay in the country( I am assuming it is the UK or Ireland, please correct me if I am wrong)  economic? or other? I think it depends on that. If it is not economic then it is totally a different story. If you could explain more about the HSMP and ILR I might be able to give more explanation. Good luck anyway!
