Question:

Indentations in my skin what are they? No marks just that the skin is puckered with these indentations?

Definitely not celllulite it is on my hands and fingers...really very odd.

  1. As you dont say where your problem is , it could be anything from scars to cellulite , or if you are using corticosteroids ..its quite possible you have skin atrophy ( wasting away of tissue )

  3. It depends where they are!  Scarring from acne will leave indentations if you had it bad enough.  If you've ever had chicken pox and scratched them they will leave little round scars in your skin.  If the indentations are on your thighs/bum etc then it's likely to be cellulite!

  4. If it's i n a fatty part of your body (like thighs, or bottom) then it might be cellulite.

    I have a strange allergy to fish that makes my thumbs look pinpricked, so ask a doctor if it's obviously not cellulite.
