  1. Probability of drawing a red marble = 1/4

Probability of drawing a blue marble = 3/4

Probability of drawing two red marbles =

    1/4 * 1/4 = 1/16

Probability of drawing two blue marbles =

    3/4 * 3/4 = 9/16

Probability both are the same color =

    1/16 + 9/16 = 10/16 = 5/8

    Probability of different colors =

    1 - 5/8 = 3/8
