Independent Life Agents?

Question

As a life agent, would anyone share the range of income you are earning? Im looking for honest annual ranges. ie $25-$50k etc. Anyone wishing to post ACTUAL EARNINGS is most appreciated. Also how long have you been in the business. Please NO PRIMERICA AGENTS. I am looking for INDEPENDENT AGENTS ONLY. Thankyou.

i'm no indi agent (State Farm), but my life sales generate approximately $50-60k for me annually...most of my business though is generated from P&C sales.  I've been an agent for a little more than 5 years.

I work VERY part time & sporatically & last year did just short of $20K. Mostly through annuities. I have been independent for about 3 yrs now. I do try to make it full time, but just have not had the freedom to do that as of yet, so I do still keep a 9-5.

I make very little on the side $10,000 a year but im not very active just sell life insurance to friends that need it.  Dont feel like doing all the marketing and trying to get new clients is difficult for me.
