My question to you guys is are you just looking for marriage or bust? It seems to me that if they guy is not ready to settle down you move on.

Is this a correct assessment? Based on my experience it seems to be. I need your opinions.

  1. I'm not in the category you're addressing the question to, but I have some friends who are, and I think your assessment of the situation is pretty accurate.

Many Christian women only want to date Christian men who are considering marriage as the ultimate outcome of the dating process.  s*x is out of the question until marriage, so there's less point in dating for the sake of it.

And in fact I think that's the case with most women who are ready for marriage, whether Christan or not.  There's not much point in dating a man who isn't at the same stage of life.  It just leads to pain and heartache.

  2. I can only speak for myself but I am independent and happy on my own ... if i don't feel a deep connection with a man, then I don't bother to be honest. I have a man who I can have s*x with that I don't need to worry about any pressure from (settling is not an option - so I am not looking for marriage with just anyone) ... until I find 'the one' then I am one fulfilled and stress-free gal on my own!  ;)

  3. You already asked this over in R&S...

And "singles and dating" and "marriage and divorce".
