Independent study program in CA.?

How easy is the independent study program in CA??? I am a very motivated person and hate my school. Also how would I go about telling them that I would like to do independent study?

Each program is different. If you are in So Cal, take a look at Eagles' Peak Charter or Pacific Coast High school in Tustin.
