Independent truck owner looking for business?

I recently purchased a box truck (13,000) and I'm looking for businesses that are looking for independent truckers for their deliveries and/or transportation. Anyone have any great suggestions on how to go about finding such companies?

  1. My better half drives for FedEx, and is very happy there. Your truck will have to meet FexEx's standards, and you will be gone 3-4 weeks at a time.

    If we knew where you lived, it would help.
