India, China and Brazil should be included in Big Guys G-8 team - drop Canada, USA and Russia for a change?

India and China I can see, but why the h**l Brazil? The USA and Russia have to be there, they're two world powers.

USA and Russia have to be there, per their economic and political influence in the world. India, China and Brazil are good choices for additions, per their economic and political influence.

Todd Benjamin on CNN International (the business reporter) said Canada shouldn't be there, per their lack of economic and political influence compared to India, China and various other countries who aren't a part of the G8.

The G8 agreed the aid increase at its 2005 summit, but a report last month by the Africa Progress Panel said that under current spending plans the G8 will fall 40 billion dollars short of its target. Sir Bob Geldof said they are only at 14 percent of their commitment since the last summit. Geldof praised the work Britain, the United States and Germany were doing to live up to their aid commitments to the world's poorest continent, but was less complimentary about Japan.
