http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SL-Akshay-c90575 came out for their side to bat their way to domination as they sought a big total against the fielding side.
However, their plans were left shattered when after adding just a run to their overnight score, Akshay lost his wicket without scoring on the second day.
The fall of this wicket was crucial, as the two batsmen looked well a day earlier, however, with Akshay back in the pavilion, Karnataka had to radicalise their strategy in order to counter their opposition, which looked dangerous.
Binny, on the other hand, exhibited phenomenal batting as he played superb shots against the bowlers he was up against.
The batsman lost his wicket after clobbering an innings of 94 runs, with 312 runs on the board. The side then added two more runs before the end of their first innings.
With a decent total ahead, Uttar Pradesh came out to give a batting performance that needed wits and composure.
On 32 runs, they suffered the loss of their first wicket, when 22-year-old opener, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Tanmay-Srivastava-c2642, lost his wicket after posting 12 runs.

While, Kaif was having a joyride playing against Karnataka, opener Dagar was dismissed after playing a knock of 37 runs. At the time of this wicket, Uttar Pradesh, had piled 82 runs.
After the fall of this wicket, on came http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Parvinder-Singh-c80793 and together with Kaif the batsman incinerated Karnataka’s bowling brigade.
