On Friday, December 23, 2011 Baroda trail by three runs with five wickets remaining against Bengal in the ongoing Group B four-day match of the Ranji Trophy Elite at Moti Bagh Stadium, Vadodara.

In the end, Bengal posted a resounding total of 390 runs in their first innings, exhibiting the strength in their batting line-up.

Nonetheless, they had a disastrous start to their second innings as they lost both their openers on nil, putting the side under pressure early on.
