http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Poonam-Ganesh-Raut-c82377 demonstrated a phenomenal innings of 60 runs as India Women scored 215 runs as they were bowled out in 49.4 overs by Australia Women.
The third match of the NatWest Women’s Quadrangular Series is being played at Queens’s Park, Chesterfield, a neutral venue, on July 2nd, 2011.

The innings was opened by Raut and Neha Tanwar and the bowling was initiated by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Clea-Rosemary-Smith-c51182.
Tanwar had a shaky start, continued struggling and was gone after scoring eight runs off 25 balls.
She was replaced by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Anagha-Arun-Deshpande-c44159 who also never looked confident as Raut was doing well at the other end.
India Women lost their second wicket when http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Deshpande-c53821 was gone after scoring just five runs and the second wicket fell at 28 runs.
The experienced campaigner, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mithali-Raj-c76407, came to the crease and joined in with Raut.
The duo consolidated the innings with responsible batting. Raut kept on securing one end with stealing the runs while Raj was playing in an attacking mode.
The Kangaroos' captain, Jodie Field, made quite a few changes in the bowling to dislodge the partnership but did not succeed until they had posted an important partnership of 75 runs for the third wicket.
Raj was the third batter who was separated after she had scored 49 runs off 61 balls with the help of seven boundaries.
Harmanpreet Kaur was the next batter who made her appearance on the crease and followed the footsteps of Raut with sensible batting.
They associated 60 runs for the fourth wicket when the established Raut was sent back to the pavilion after contributing 60 runs off 106 deliveries with five fours.

Kaur scored 31 runs off 37 balls with three fours when they were bowled out at 215 runs in 49.4 overs.
