Continuing their one-sided tour of India, the Australia Women’s team cruised to an easy 8-wicket win against the India Women in the 2nd T20 of the 5-match series at Visakhapatnam today on March 19.

Raj joined her at the crease to bring the total up to 83 in the 16th over, after which she was dismissed by Hunter.
Following Chopra's exit at the hands of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sarah-Coyte-c88762 in the 17th over, the last two batters of the innings, Harmanpreet Kaur (9) and Veda Krishnamurthy (15 off 9 balls) chipped in with some useful last-minute runs, which brought their team up to
111 for 3 at the end of 20 overs.
Hunter and Coyte remained the only wicket-takers for the Aussie side, and while the remaining four bowlers did not manage to claim any scalps, they were successful in restricting runs, with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ellyse-Alexandra-Perry-c55924 allowed
only 19 off 4 overs.
The Australian team needed only 18 overs to reach the target. who scored an unbeaten 68 off 54 balls, and teamed up with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Meg-Lanning-c75532 (40 off 39) to establish a partnership which propelled the team to 103 by the 17th over, after which Lanning was run out.
She was followed by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Alexandra-Joy-Blackwell-c43285, who departed without troubling the scorer but Cameron stuck it out to help the team reach 115 by the 18th over, with 16 balls to spare.
The win puts Australia in the driving seat in the 5-match series as they currently take a 2-0 lead. The visitors will now look to secure the series when they take on the hosts in the 3rd T20, scheduled for March 21 at the Visakhapatnam.
