Having won the previous match, the Indian girls came in their encounter with confidence, while Bangladesh had everything to play for.
Indian openers MR Meshram and S Mandhana were impressive yet again, as they gave their side an opening stand of 53 runs, before this batting duo played its last on the wicket of Meshram, who was caught by Shukhtara Rahman off Fahima Khatun after jabbing

On the next delivery the bowler struck once more, dismissing V Sneha Deepthi for one. India were now in trouble with four wickets down.
Bangladesh on the other hand, had made a comeback now as they reduced the scoring rate bringing it down drastically.

Bangladesh then wrapped up the Indian innings comfortably by restricting the lower order to scoring freely. They now have to bat with patience if they want to successfully chase down the target against India’s formidable bowling attack.
