India Women v Bangladesh Women - Bangladesh Women tour of India - 3rd T20I – Live Score and Update
India Women 123/9 (20/20 ov)- India won the toss and chose to bat
In the ongoing T20I series between hosts India and tourist http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747, the Indians after winning the toss have managed to post a modest score of 123 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs, at Reliance Stadium, Vadodara.
Having won the previous match, the Indian girls came in their encounter with confidence, while Bangladesh had everything to play for.
Indian openers MR Meshram and S Mandhana were impressive yet again, as they gave their side an opening stand of 53 runs, before this batting duo played its last on the wicket of Meshram, who was caught by Shukhtara Rahman off Fahima Khatun after jabbing
an impressive knock of 22 runs off 22 deliveries.
The second-wicket partnership between S Mandhana and skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hugh-Morris-c63550 Kaur was equally important as the two batswomen continued the onslaught, keeping the Bangladesh fielders on their toes.
This partnership led the side towards 84 runs, before the suffering the demise of Mandhana, who had her stumps obliterated by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shukhtara-c90152 Rahman after hitting 39 runs off just 36 deliveries.
Two runs later, the batting side lost another wicket when the captain was removed by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Panna-Ghosh-c80709. The batswoman found her way off the field after scoring 20 runs off just 23 deliveries.
On the next delivery the bowler struck once more, dismissing V Sneha Deepthi for one. India were now in trouble with four wickets down.
Bangladesh on the other hand, had made a comeback now as they reduced the scoring rate bringing it down drastically.
PG Raut and S Rath tried to continue http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750’s impressive run, but could take the score to only 105, before S Rath was run out after scoring nine runs.
It was then time for N Niranjana to come in the middle, as India reached 112 runs before she was the next to leave the ground, losing her wicket after scoring five runs.
Bangladesh then wrapped up the Indian innings comfortably by restricting the lower order to scoring freely. They now have to bat with patience if they want to successfully chase down the target against India’s formidable bowling attack.
