India beats New Zealand in Nagpur Test
Mirroring the success of day three, India showed its strength again at VCA Stadium on day four of the third Test in Nagpur on Tuesday 23 November, beating New Zealand by one innings and 198 runs, with

Tim Southee and Andy McKay shared a stand of 51 while India’s bowler Ishant took on Chris Martin and Southee with consecutive bowls to finish the game.
Harbhajan took away the player of the year Series award for hitting 315 runs with two centuries and 10 wickets, but Ishant was satisfied with having been credited the final blow.

New Zealand was not in the most advantageous position this morning, having suffered a defeat on day three of the Test while New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori, fell over in 51.2 overs on day four to Raina
for 13.
"There were a lot of negatives for us but I think India showed us how to play in these conditions, and definitely with the bat," Vettori told reporters.
Vettori was incredulous about his team’s performance, and he noted that they started off the day by making dismissals. "In this part of the world first innings runs keep you in the game," he said.
Vettori said that he was disappointed with New Zealand’s opening game "Winning the toss, batting first and then making only 193 is not something that will win you a Test match.”
